The NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for a specialist integrated health service aimed at supporting patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and Long Covid. The service will provide an activity management and pacing programme for referred patients. The contract, valued at approximately £5.45 million, will cover the Suffolk and North East Essex locality. The awarded contract is structured as a block contract with a potential duration of three years, plus an optional two-year extension.
