MCS Matters: Winter 2008 Highlights and Updates
Helpline Update
Due to overwhelming demand and its impact on health, the MCS helpline is now limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays. In emergencies, messages can still be left for callback.
Building Credibility
MCS sufferers often struggle to convince others of the condition’s legitimacy. A selection of free informational documents is available for download from MCS International’s website, offering evidence and insights.
Organic Produce on a Budget
Rising costs of organic food challenge MCS sufferers. A study by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) highlights high-pesticide fruits and vegetables (e.g., peaches, apples, spinach) and low-pesticide options (e.g., broccoli, cabbage, bananas) to guide purchasing decisions.
Additional Resources
MCS International continues to provide access to numerous free downloadable PDFs on topics ranging from environmental sensitivities to medical perspectives.
Season’s Greetings
Warm wishes for Christmas 2008 and the New Year from Gordon D. McHendry, Founder of MCS International.
