every Contribution Helps, No Matter how small!

We receive no statutory funding for core running costs and are solely reliant upon donations, and donations from private trust funds. Every donations helps in the following ways:

  • Listening Ear Service and Disability Fund: Provides additional support and resources.
  • Member Communication: Facilitates regular communication between members via a contact list.
  • Special interest groups: Offers a sense of community and shared interests (e.g., Prayer Group).
  • Practical and emotional support/advice: Helps members cope with their condition.
  • Informative Resources: We produce newsletters, an annual awareness campaign mailing, and maintain a website to disseminate information and raise awareness, which costs money to produce.

Many individuals with severe disabilities rely on our group for vital support and connection. We’ve witnessed firsthand the positive impact we have in their lives, providing a lifeline against isolation. To continue this essential work, we urgently need your help. We are deeply worried that without additional funding, we will not be able to continue offering these services, and the people we serve will face even greater isolation and lack of support. We are incredibly grateful for any support you can offer to help us keep our doors open and continue making a difference in their lives.
